I was wondering... since the PS3 can now play DTS MA with the recent 2.30 firmware update, will Sony be making it's newer consoles with the DTS MA logo to accompany the Dolby TrueHD logo on the side??? Strange question, I know, but like I said, just curious.... your thoughts on the Logo?????

I think they might add that logo. The logo advertises a feature set which prior to 2.30 is not there. So I think 80GB ones coming soon will have at least 2.30 and the logo out of the box.

as for the time being PS3 is certified DTSHDMA and i was thinking from where we can get this specific logo to attach it besides their preceding logos on the back of PS3.

Well I think one of us should find a place that makes stickers, or something, so we can add it to the logos displayed on our consoles... I'd be willing to shell out some cash for it.

As long as I can see DTS-HD MA displayed on the screen when I hit the Info button on the remote that's all I need. I doubt if anyone is going to come over to my house and look for a DTS-HD MA logo on my PS3 or any of my components, and I highly doubt that the average person outside of the High Def community really knows or even cares about it. It's just a label.

Like cars, I'd rather have a clean inconspicuous ///M3 with "unseen" performance upgrades as opposed to an all out Fast and Furious style rice cooker covered with stickers and labels for every piece of mod installed. The performance under the chassis is all that matters.

Depends on whether DTS pays them to put the logo on, or if they give Sony a price-break to license the technology in exchange for the logo.
