I have liked it from the start. But then I am a big Will Smith fan, but I must admit this new trailer makes it look even better.

So far there has only been one Will Smith movie I have not liked and that was Wild Wild West, talk about a movie that jumped the shark early and often.

Saw the previews on HDNET, didn't really appeal to me. I'm not in love with WS, but I do like some of his movies. Enemy of the state is probably one of my favorite, followed by Legend, and ID4. I still haven't seen iRobot.

Will wait for a rental or until it comes on cable.

I hate to say it, but I think the studio released this to generate buzz, since the film itself hasn't drawn much press. Of course, that might be because the original trailer was lame, but this looks much better. Worth my $9.25.

It won't compare to the movies being released this summer, but I plan to see it. Will Smith delivers 95% movies worth the ticket price, and about 80% worth buying and watching multiple times. He's on the list next to Bale as an actor I can count on.

After the unfortunate coincidence of sitting through "I, Robot" and "I Am Legend" within two weeks of each other (and any other film that Will can get "I" into the title of), I've had my fill for the moment of Smith's ONE narcisstically snarky "Coolest Guy in the Universe with Machine Gun, and You're Not" persona--

That he this time gets to play a Cranky Detestable Bum with Superhero Powers to Blow Up Buildings, feels more like one of those projects where a star's vanity-image picked one wish-fulfillment project too many....

I like every action movie Will Smith has done, however after seeing the first trailer it look stupid, basically a superhero thats a jerk, but I would probably see it anyway because its Will Smith. But saw another trailer last night on Fox and now I am actually looking forward to it.

Yeah I was watching American Idol on Wednesday (in HD) and this preview came on. Now, the first trailer I ever saw for this film made me say "lame" and I will pass. Then, this trailer came along and slapped me upside my face! It looks freakin' awesome! And the HD made it look incredible. A must-see opening night for me and most likely a day 1 BD purchase!

Will go with wife in the afternoon when it comes out. A whopping $6. each. Too bad the goodies cost more. I too didn't like Wild Wild West, but I have like almost everything he has done. I Am Legend has already been played a dozen times. Wife keeps pulling that one out.

I dunno, seems like the last time we got "Creepy/unlikable superhero-deconstructionist spoof", Uma Thurman was in it...

(Not to mention, this officially makes the third film IN A ROW--I've counted--where Smith's character gets to say "Do I look like I care what people think?"
Sorry, Will, that's still our money you're spending, and we care what we think...)

I must say it looks nothing like the Uma Thurman movie. But I'm sure it won't be everyones cup of tea.
