TX-sr605 and Speaker

I have 605 ,yesterday,i hook up my speaker,than beginning set speaker,but it not find speaker. please tell why? what i do next?thinks
ps: my speaker is sumsung,it 3ohms

Is your Onkyo 605 a North American model? ...it is not wise to use a 3ohm speaker.

You should be using 6ohm or 8ohm.


As for the speaker not being found when you try to set it up, it could be wired incorrectly or the wire not completely touching the post.
