Smile Just got X III but haven't seen X2 yet

I was waiting for X2 to come out on Blu-ray before buying X III, but $14.99 @ Fry's was too good to pass up.

I have the DVD for X2 still sealed. Should I watch it now or wait?

Wait for the blu ray and return the sealed copy and put it towards a blu ray while it has higher value.

I think "not watch X-2 at all" should be an option!

Rubbish. Watch X1, then X2, then pop in the Blu-ray of XIII.

Just a DVD, good God - I don't like to watch them either, but they're not like the Bubonic plague!

X2 happens to be one of the best superhero films ever and considering X3 follows X2, I would watch X2 first before watching X3. And if you haven't seen X1 yet, then you would need to watch that one first, then X2, then X3. lol.

So, rent X2 or watch your copy.

I should've mentioned that I've already seen the first X-Men (though I haven't seen 1.5).

Personally, I'd say return X3 and wait for X2. X2 was much better than X3.

X2 was even better than X1...but X3 was terrible.

Go ahead and watch your X2 DVD...you probably won't get much cash for it(unless you can still return it), so you might as well enjoy it.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I played a few scenes from the first X-Men to see how well it upscales, and from that decided the quality was good enough to watch X2 - but shoot, those DVD cases are damn heavy.

Great movie BTW, up to par if not better than the first one. Hope X3 doesn't disappoint too much.
