Whats the deal with the Toshiba 46XF550?

Toshiba is probably the only brand I know of that does not reveal the contrast ratio on their tvs. I e-mailed Toshiba's customer service and asked why they don't list contrast ratios. A representative replied within 2 days and simply said that contrast ratio does NOT necessarily mean you get the best picture. He said it only tells a small percentage of the picture quality that you will be getting from a tv. Does anyone own this particular model?
