does anyone know if there is a program you could download to put sub titles on a bluray? while watching it via HTPC?

Subtitles should work just like a normal stand alone player. Just go to the menu and enable them.

He wants a program like DVDSubber, that will overlay subtitles from a script file for a language not on the disc onto a DVD image

blu-ray should be flexible enough to accommodate the needs of consumer. This is vital for the long term survivability. If solutions are not offered, people will find their own solutions.


I thought there is a subtitle download facility built into blu-ray. And I thought of exploring this for subtitle repositioning. Based on the comments from the other posters this doesn't looks like a possibility.
