Default I Am In Shock How Cheap 1080p Front Projectors Are Today

If I every buy a new house I am going to try and get one with a dedicated home theater room. 1080P front projectors are so cheap. Several years ago it cost $100,000+ for a 1080P front projector. Two years ago it cost $33,000 for a Sony 1080P Front projector. One year ago it cost $10,000 for a Sony 1080P front projector. In late 2006 Sony came out with a 1080P front projector that even accepts a 1080P/24 signal for $5,000. It has a 15,000:1 contrast ratio. One can even purchase this Sony VPL-VW50 for $3,579 for final delivered price online. I wish I had a dedicated home theater room now. It is totally amazing how far and fast 1080P went mainstream. According to Sony’s website the VPL-VW50 is the only Sony display that has a 1080p/24 input. All other Sony SXRD displays accept 1080p/60 inputs.
