Default how to bypass regional protection?

hello all !... what I am about to ask will raise many eyebrows, although I have to ask it... I just bought a SONY DSP-S300 in Australia and evidently it has a region B protection for BD and a region 4 protection for DVDs; being a huge movie fan (I already have over 40's BD in my collection); I can't wait until local releases of Blue-ray discs... so I was wondering if there is a crack that I can download that will bypass that little inconvenience?.... TIA

PS : do manufacturers actually know that pirated copies of BD and DVDs are All Regions encoded?... will save us much hassles (and $$$) simply buying pirated copies?...

It is typical of DRM schemes that they punish the legit users and not the pirates. However there are other reasons for region-coding. It's highly unlikely you can simply "patch" your player to ignore it.
