Default resistance 2 vs killzone 2

hey just curious, what do you think will be better. resistance 2 or kill zone 2.

PS. for those people who are going to complain about the game not being out yet and its not a fair judgement. im just asking an opinion.

KILLZONE!

Resistance 2 looks awesome, and i loved the first one.

But I cant imagine the graphics, nor the audio are gonna even come close to Killzone 2. How long has that game [Killzone 2] been in development now? 100 years?

Being in develop for a long time doesn't necessary mean good graphic.
But in the case of Killzone 2, it's an exception.

Both Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 looks great to me. So to be fair, I'm not gonna vote, sorry.
But I will end up buying them both anyways.

Killzone will have better graphics, Resistance will offer better gameplay and story.

I'll be getting both as well.

I think Killzone's graphics have looked better so far but Resistance is no slouch. Until I see more of each of them running, I'm still giving the edge to Killzone.

For me, Resistance had a great story that was fleshed out all around. If Insomniac keeps it on par with the first (and not crash and burn like Halo 2) then I will be pleasantly pleased.

Only playing a little bit of the first Killzone, I can't say that I know much of the Killzone world or history. So, I'm probably biased on that. The whole 'weather aspect' does seem like an interesting gameplay mechanic but I don't know how I feel so far about the story.

How do you figure that two extremely similar first-person shooters are 'totally different'. Why is it so hard for people to compare things like this? It's a good poll for good reason. Anyways, I'll probably be buying them both also, but I've been excited for a longer time about Killzone 2.

I'll be stupid enough to buy Halo 4 whenever it may surface as well.

At least you're honest. Me, I've found myself a few times today saying that a movie sucked following that up with 'I'll be buying it anyways'.

Art direction is my style. On that stance, I'd pick Resistance 1 and 2 over Killzone 2.

GRAW2 and GTA4 have the kind of style that I like. Eventhough both games lack the polygon counts we have in games like Grand Turismo 5, their artistic style (color, lighting, and animation) make them stand out as shockingly believeable and inspiring to me. Resistance 1 does the same for me. Resistance 2 seems to be on track.

I'm impressed with the technical showcase in Killzone2 in the trailers though. But it seems too heavy metal for this soft music listener.

tied for me, Resistance has to be my favorite FPS so far, good story line and GREAT gameplay, Killzone 2 on the other hand feels fresh to me because I never got a chance to buy the first Killzone, so the excitement is a tie for me on both titles... I wouldn't say that Killzone 2 will look better then R2 because R2 looks REALLY impressive already, different art styles graphically.

resistance is a solid game, and I'm sure resistance 2 will be no different.

Basically, it's more "proven", and we know insomniac can design a good online interface (far better than other online games that have comeout for the ps3 imo).

Therefoer my vote goes to resistance.

I think they both have great potential (Killzone 2 with better graphics and Resistance 2 with possibly better gameplay), so, in the end, I don't care which is better. They will both be in my collection. Thus, my vote of "don't care".

I think when it comes down to it Insomniac is going to offer the better experience. Though, I don't doubt that Killzone 2 is going to have great visuals.

Resistance 2 will be the better game, but Killzone 2 will be much more impressive graphically.

I'll probably end up getting both R2 and KZ2, but if I had to pick one it'd have to be R2 only because of the better experience I had with R1 versus the experience I got with the first Killzone game. Being that Resistance 2 will be out this fall, and Sony has pushed Killzone 2 back to 2009 doesn't give points to Killzone 2 either
