Killzone 3, InFamous 2, and Resistance 3 All to be Announced at E3?

Evidently the latest issue of PlayStation: The Official Magazine has reached subscribers, and GameThirst reports it has a number of juicy rumors in its pages. Top among them: that Sony is planning to announce three huge sequels at E3 later this year, including Resistance 3, Killzone 3, and InFamous 2.

None of them, mind you, is particularly surprising. The existence of Resistance 3 was already kind of leaked by a fake billboard on a movie set, so that one was expected. Similarly, Killzone 3 has also been previously rumored to be in the works (a rumor that also first appeared in OPM, in fact), and there have already been reports that Sucker Punch has been casting for InFamous 2 as well. This latest wave of rumors in OPM, though, says none of them will be available until 2011.

In other rumor news, the issue also states that they're "90 percent sure" God of War 3 will launch with a custom God of War-designed limited edition PlayStation 3. And lastly, there's an "85 percent chance" (we're sure these figures are very scientific) that Metal Gear: Rising -- the Raiden-starring spin-off announced at E3 last year -- will be out by Christmas.

And now we wait and see. E3 2010 starts June 15.

I'd bet on Killzone 3 not coming out in 2010. Resistance 3 is about 100% coming this year. InFamous 2 I have no idea, could very well be this year.

I heard rumours that Killzone 3 has a new engine running at 60fps with destrutable environments. Anyone else heard?

I'd expect R3 could be this year but doubt the other 2.
If Killzone 3 does come with destuctible scenery it wouldn't change the gameplay too much apart from kill the cover system so doubt that too.
To be honest out of these 3 games I'll only be buying R3 and K3. Infamous was good but not great for me. Seemed very average seeing as a lot of the missions were exactly the same but disguised to seem different.

i would expect Resistance 3 to hit the shelves in 2010. it seems that Insomniac alternates years with Resistance and Ratchet, and 2009 was Ratchet's year.

It comes as no surprise to me about Resistance 3 being announced since it's more than likely coming out this November. Infamous 2 is a little surprising, but not entirely. Killzone 3 is the shocker for me. I am not surprised there will be a sequel, given the cliffhanger ending of KZ2, but I figured it'd take a long time to release a sequel, say late 2011/early 2012.

no destructible environments = no need to play

They are all big games so I think Infamous 2 and KZ3 will be probably out next years. Usually those type of title takes 2 years developpement for a sequel. R3 will be probably out this november following Insomniac routine of Ratchet and Resistance.

By the end of 2010 it will have been nearly 2 years since KZ2 hit. I don't think it'll hit until early 2011, only because I assume Resistance 3 will hit sometime around Nov. 2010.

It seems that Infamous 2 coming out this year is surprisingly soon, but then again they might just be using most of the same assests from the first one. I am excited for it. I did like the voice of Cole and I hope the new voice isnt too different.

Killzone 3, Ill play it but Im not in any hurry to own it.
