can't get 5.1 w/ PS3 over Optical cable - Blu-ray Forum

Help!

Just brought home my PS3, connected it up with HDMI to the TV and optical cable to my receiver. Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm not able to get 5.1 sound. I checked and re-checked the settings, and I can't see anything that is causing this....any suggestions?
