Default Help with which cable provider

Ok we have always had just normal comcast. I had a 40 inch lcd
Well i got the 52 inch lcd a couple months ago. And we decided we want to get alot of channels and hd channels....Well i'm trying to figure out which way to go....

dish network...direct tv...or comcast digital

I'm looking for something that doesnt cost a arm and a leg..But gives a pretty good amount of channels...movie..sports...and cartoons.
Possibly a nfl channel. all that But with the hd also

Comcast seems pricey..thats why i just have basic.
but i hear stories of dish messing up in snow or rain....then i hear ppl say it doesnt...

Well which would you go with...and some info on why and how much you pay.

Thanks

Ive heard and seen pictures of Comcast picture quality being pretty bad. So me personally I would look into DirecTv, Dishnetwork or FIOS

I have Dishnetwork and its pretty good. Cannot speak on DirecTV since ive never used them, same with FIOS but have heard good things from both.

well, to be honest, it has to be a pretty bad storm for Dishnetwork to cut out...it doesnt just cut out because it rains, I'll say that much. It usually takes a lot.

I like my Dish network, but I don't get HD content. I have had Direct t.v. (6 years ago or so) and I would say ANY satellite provider will probably be better/cheaper than any cable provider.

well i had insight but they were bought by comcast so now i have comcast and all i can say is i ahve been having some problems with comcast....than again if you go with dish (which i have also had before) and its a really cloudy day and/or its thunderstorming your dish goes out...so its a loose/loose situation...but in my opinion go with comcast...and it hurts me to say that

well i believe comcast does give you free hd channels as for dish or direct tv they charge extra for them. plus another fee for local hd channels. atleast around this area. cant say anything about fios since its not here yet.
