Default ***TV, Speakers, & Amp YOU DECIDE!***

Hey all!
I've been coming to this forum for a good year now but have never felt the need to become a member. Well i guess desperate times call for desperate measures!!!! Heh!

Im in the market to purchase a new amp tv and speakers.

1. I think I have found an amp: Harman Kardon AVR 347 Home Theater Receiver with iPod Control and HDMI connectivity(http://www.amazon.com/Harman-Kardon-...2941452&sr=8-2)

It seems to be alright i feel.
However, if you guys think you know something better for around the similar price range let me know!! Thanks

2. I need speakers and a TV
Heres what i know so far...
The speakers im looking to try something other than bose (got them somewhere else in the house so looking for some change)
I know how expensive speakers can be so i dont want to put a price on them cause that result in me getting crap. what i do not want is the dvd home system...i am getting an amp so no need for that garbage.
3. The room is not that big so a 42 inch 1080p would do just fine. Here are the brands I DO NOT, NOR WOULD ANYONE ELSE (at least for a nice beautiful setup) WANT....
vizio, dynex, westinghouse.
4. Im just going to name a price for the 42 inch and speakers together $1500 - $2000. If you think that is not enough please let me know! IF YOU KNOW SOMETHING THAT IS GOOD BUT NOT AS EXPENSIVE IM ALL FOR IT TOO!!! i DONT NEED TO SPEND ALL $2300! heh.

So just let me know what you think the best speakers and 42 inch tv is for that price... (the amp is not included in that price estimate)
Alright whatever you guys can do i would appreciate.

THANK YOU!!!

***Edited due to missing price range****

I guess you're committed to 1080p at that size then.... any more, I'd say drop down to 720p for sure.... but you're on the "cusp" if you will.

I'm not current on t.v. prices, but as far as saving $100 to $200.... my best advice would be... "wait a month" you'll surely get the entire package for a couple hundred less, because the t.v. and/or receiver will go down by that much by then (likely the televisions)

Good luck!
