Default onkyo speaker settings

I posted this elsewhere, but think it was a dead thread, and figured I would get a more specific response if I posted it by itself.

I have the Onkyo 908 htib
and on their site it says
Front/Center 60 Hz–50 kHz
Surround 60 Hz–50 kHz
Surround Back 60 Hz–50 kHz
Subwoofer 25 Hz–150 Hz

so should I set it like this?

Front/Center 60 Hz
Surround 60 Hz
Surround Back 60 Hz
Subwoofer 150 Hz

when I did the mic calibration, it was something (meaing I don't remember exactly) like this:

Front/Center 60 Hz
Surround 80 Hz
Surround Back 80 Hz
Subwoofer 150Hz

What is the correct settings? or most ideal?

whatever way sounds better to you.... that's what I'd go with.... I wouldn't set it according to the audyssey (or whatever it's called) if it sounds better to you the other way.

I would run the Audessey and see what it comes up with. Then I'd try their recommended settings. Then I'd play with the settings till I found what worked best for me.

For my system, I ended up liking the speaker recommendations best and didn't need to tweak that at all. No one can tell you what sounds best on your system but you, really. Sound is subjective and we obviously can't hear your setup.
