Man I cant wait for Starship Troopers! - Blu-ray Forum

I cant wait until this current Starship Troopers gets old enough that a good remake can be made.

Power Suits, Skinnies, Skinny Raid, Warrior and Worker Bugs, Rodger Young Drop Pods, and so on.

Man that book was good. I cant wait for a Movie that does something other than use the locations and names.

Wonder how long it will take.

Heh, your title is deceiving!

While I do agree that the movie strays from the source material, I still find the first movie quite enjoyable. It's got Paul's political satire like Robocop and Total Recall, and the theme music is quite motivational. Not to mention the special effects for it's time were pretty decent... (mostly space and day shots in the rocks with massive bug armies. The tanker bug and brain bug not so much anymore).

I liked the movie. II sucked, but ST was good enough to buy and watch once in a while. GREAT B movie as long as you know not to expect the book

I disagree with Paul's polotical satire. That was 100% Heinlein. I would say Paul happened to accidentially do that part well, as that chump did not even bother reading the book.

As a B movie, it is good... Better than the Happening
