Default WALL•E opening weekend box office?

in 2006 I saw the first preview of Ratatouille. Thought it looked awful and that Pixar had lost its touch. As time passed and it got closer to the movies release in 2007 it started looking better and better where by the time the final Trailer was shown, I couldnt wait any longer.

Well same thing with Wall E. I thought, how could a movie with just a little robot that doesnt speak and is surrendered all by himself on the planet be good? Well as time went on, more and more was shown, and I believe this has the potential to be THE best, yes, THE best pixar movie ever. Will it definetly be the best? Who knows. But im so stoked to see this movie on friday. Although im stoked about seeing NEWT in 2011 and Toy Story 3 in 2010.

So how much do you think Wall E will make?

Toy Story- 27M
Ratatouille- 47M
Toy Story 2- 57M
Cars- 60M
Finding Nemo- 70M
Incredibles- 70M

I just can't wait to see a walking trash can wonder around a planet and then 700 years later, more trailer trash arrives and become friends til the end.

Will definately be the #1 movie of the weekend, will probably be in the top 3 of the year. Pixar always makes good family friendly movies, which is a huge draw.

I'm not an out-and-out Pixar fangirl, but I do generally like their stuff. And yes, WALL•E looks adorable. Plus it has a touch of cynicism about the human race - always a plus! And I think, like Cars, it's gonna be another merchandising boom for Pixar and Disney.

Definitely seeing it on Friday, but I still haven't decided which theatre to go to, or when... *ponders*

Do know, this is Sci-Fi. Most SciFi fail (unless it's comic book).. but it's Pixar and the robot is cute.. so.. i really don't know..

Yeah, I'd say so. Actually, scratch year, and replace that with EVER!

I say $60-70 Mil. The advertising for this on the Internet is crazy! I don't think it will get higher than that this week, but next week is another story. I think it will spike: gross around $85-95 Mil next week. Don't underestimate this one. It will tear up the box office.
