Default Could this cause permanent damage to my receiver?
I have a Sony STR-DG910 hooked up to a JVC 5.1 package ( Main speakers are large -35hz, satellite centre and surrounds -60hz + a 60w sub). I bought the speakers 7 years ago as part of a JVC HTiB.The problem with the speakers now is during intense action scenes the main/centre speakers start clipping/distorting sound so much I have to turn the volume down. Now I want to know if this could damage my receiver...
