Animation takes years to produce, Amazing to say the least. I remember seeing previews for Wall-E and they started the groundwork for Wall-E back in 1994 after ToyStory was released.
Another example that I read on was Shrek, takes 3 years to make a Shrek film. the voice work was done here, but the animation work was done I believe in Taiwan or HK where labor is cheap and can be done for pennies on the dollar. Its been a few years ago since I read the article but thats what sticks out

i can't wait to watch wall-e, i just tried the pc demo though.... lets hope the film is better lol

Ahhh, but who could forget Luxo Jr., Pixar's first short as an independant studio.

I'm still amazed that they had the knowledge to do CGI back in the 80's what with the Cray supercomputer craze back then. I like the jazzy tune too.
