Final Destination Blu-ray

Final Destination Blu-ray Review

They have it for $14.76 on Blu-Ray and I would like to pre-order the movie but it says Full Frame. Anyone know anything about this? If started this in the wrong spot I am sorry.

No it's the perfect place for such talk.

Concerning the movie, putting a Full Screen on a BD is far from being a wise decision. Probably a typo.

I was thinking that. I just don't want the full screen. Every other place has it at Wide Screen.

I'm sure that's a mistake-- I've seen things like that many times on
Deep Discount--

keep in mind that as far as I know-- there is NO SUCH THING as full frame
movies on blu-ray (with the exception of older movies from the 40's
backwards-- when movies were shot in full frame)

very strange-- as you may already know, all current hi-def movie releases
are automatically in a widescreen format (16x9, 1:78. 1:85--whatever
you wanna call it)

I would still say it's a mistake-- however-- this title doesn't need to
pre-ordered yet-- you can always wait for a review (DVD Beaver seems
to have the quickest reviews up...)

Yes its a typo, a big one. The disc does in fact included a 1.85:1 aspect ratio. There has never been any Final Destination discs set to Full Frame (1.33:1)

Thanks for the clarification. Makes me feel better. I am not sure if a preorder price will get cheaper then this, so I am pre-ordering it.

I just got home and picked up Final Destination on sale for $16.99. I thought this movie was not coming out till next week? Anyway, it's an upgrade from my DVD which I will trade soon.

Not til next week. My BB had the sign out, but when I inquired, was told next week.

Wow, that's the best review quote they could get on the back cover? I can just so easily imagine it followed by "However, it is still inherently flawed due to..." or "But that's not saying much".

Tower has 2 listings for Final Destination. They each have different UPC's and Tower ID's. Both say Region 1. The first one says Full screen and the second doesnt list an aspect ratio. Also the second one says 0 discs (typo or unavailable pehaps) Wonder what the difference is or if this is an error posting two?

You know I tried that choose your death feature and no matter what you do everybody still dies haha, so you don't actually change anything, i was very let down.

For $16.99, I think it's worth the upgrade.
