I got it in the mail a couple of days ago. Interesting that they are finally pushing Blu-ray. For those that don't know this magazine was heavily biased for HD DVD since the format war began(and in fact still printed a very friendly send-off letter to HD DVD in this very issue). What I found even more interesting was their feature on Theo Kalomirakis, one of the top Home Theater designers in the world. I was thinking of reprinting some of his tips on home theater installs here later.

Saw the referenced article when this month's magazine arrived. I'm thinking of photocopying it to post at the office. I'm still amazed by some of my co-workers having no clue about Blu-Ray. You start a conversation about BDs and too many say what's Blu-Ray....

I also found the top 50 DVD article of interest as well.

Nope; it's a print rag too. I saw this month's copy in the store yesterday, so hopefully my subscription copy is in the mail.

It's absolutely mind-blowing how many people are still ignorant of Blu-ray. The Today show and Dateline NBC should do a special, updated series on Blu-ray. CNN talked about Blu-ray once, but were biased toward HD-DVD . Consumers need to be informed!

Hmm, sounds like an interesting issue. I remember reading an editor's letter where he was so biased towards HD-DVD that it irked me; glad to see they've finally turned. Might pick this latest just for the Theo Kalomirakis feature. I've been looking for his home theater book for the longest!

Many contributors still whine about the demise of HDDVD or continue to refer to themselves as "format neutral" even in the current issue.
