James Bond: The Quantum of Solace is being developed by Treyarch and it's using the Call of Duty 4 engine. The game will play like Rainbow six Vegas. While moving it will be in First Person view, but when in cover it will go to third person. The game will release in November. Also The game will cover the events in both Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

If the online is like a modern day GoldenEye, this might be worth a purchase.

You can also do "takedown's" and it will switch to third person as well. And when climbing up ladders. Also another tid-bit. Daniel Craig did his own voice acting but Ray Parks did the mo-cap.

It looks good indeed. I hope they effectively capture the raw grittiness of Casino Royale and Quantum. I just hope Treyarch is not stretching itself too thinly. Aren't they also working on the new Spider-Man game as well as COD5?

But,.. maybe not right away because I'll be stocking up on Bond films released to Blu Ray at just about the same time.

The screenshots look nice but the name 'Treyarch' pulls me away.

I think this game will rock, I played Goldeneye a couple months ago and its horrendous lol, why did i love this game so much?

But they are using the CoD4 engine! Just think! the fast paced multiplayer of CoD4 with a Bond twist!

I'm not so sure how Treyarch is landing all these games for development. They have a terrible reputation that is VERY apparent with all the anger and hate directed at them.

I'm still in shock that they went back to WWII. I'm having a real hard time accepting that one as it seems to show clearly that they have absolutely no concept of reality and what their customers want.

This actually looks pretty solid. Anyone planning on picking it up? I think I may give it a shot. Maybe wait and see if I can pick up a used copy a month or so after release.

Just finished this. Thought it was a really fun campaign. It's not COD/Halo standard but seeing as it is so cheap now, it's worth a pick up.
