Default Backwards compatable PS3?

From what I understand the only PS3 out there that is backwards compatable with PS2 games is the 80 gig. Is this true or is there no more backward compatable PS3 systems out there?

The 60 GB is fully backwards compatible if you can get your hands on one but those are extremely hard to get now. The 80 GB plays somewhere between 80-90% of PS2 games.

40GB also plays PS1 (PSX) in full backwards compatible.

If you want FULL BC, the 60gb is your best option. I can't remember, Didn't the forgotten about 20gb also have BC?

Yes, the 20GB was manufactured in the same manor as the 60GB, except it had a smaller hard drive and didn't have the wireless adapter.

We thought about picking up the MGS4 bundle as a 2nd blu ray player/ game system for up stairs. Thought about getting a stand alone BD player but the PS3 is about the same price and plays games and if it plays PS2 games that would be icing on the cake

My Tricky keeps freezing on my 80gig. It's really annoying.
