just was wondering if anyone has meet someone on a online dating service or posting sight.

curious to hear some stories if maybe someone met their match or had some great encounters through sites on the internet.

for some reason i went onto craigslist and was reading some of the ads on there for people trying to meet and alot of it seems like BS to me or scams of some sort.

thought it would be cool to hear what others have to say.

Stay away from Craigslist. Most of the women on there are prostitutes, acting like women wanting to "meet a man". Yeah, they want to meet you, do you, and get paid.

But I know plenty of people who met online and are in great relationships. The internet is just another way to meet people, it's no different than meeting in a bar, store, etc.

i hear ya there, no need to worry i am happily married for 10 years now. but its fun sometimes to explore and see what you find. i look at alot of things on craigs list to buy or sell, but never checked out the dating area. boy what a site

I actually met my wife online but not through these dating services. I used to hang in chat rooms a long time ago and we started doing private messages after a while. She sent me a pic and she was hot too so I hung in there. We dated for like 7 years before we got married.

Yea same here, the guy that rents one of my properties met his wife that way. Hes a big old boy and shes a buck 50 tops

Yea I was on there as well, seeing what the different areas had. I noticed the same pictures in alot of them so I knew something was fishy

Well, just prior to that I had met another that was 400 lbs if she was an ounce. One of the first pics I saw of her was her licking her own titty. That pretty much ended it.

Years ago i had met a college girl in a chat room and we exchanged emails and she sent me a picture. she was not bad looking if it was her. but the picture had her and a friend in the picture and the friend was hot looking, so i started chatting with her as well.

they wanted me to drive down to penn state to hang out with them

i think it could have very well been a good time for me had i gone, but did not

+1 & +1.... I thought myspace has only been around for like 5 or 6 years, but I could be wrong...

In any case, I know 3 couples who've met on the net

Couple 1 - Met via eHarmony. They are married now. They are indeed different... um... sizes. They just don't seem happy to me. It's kind of depressing... but, that's not to blame eHarmony... I see all sorts of married couples like this, unfortunately.

Couple 2 - Met via match.com. Been b/g & g/f for about 6 or 7 years. They seem happy enough.

Couple 3 - Met through myspace. Guy moved her from where he lived. They've broken up 4 times, with the 4th being the "final" time... yeah right.

So, it's almost like meeting any other way, I guess.
