COD maybe adding own online service?

I don't wanna get too mad just yet as this is nothing official and it may never even happen BUT if it does come to fruition then I'm out. I'll either never buy another COD game or I'll buy them and just play single player or if they still allow multiplayer without having their service and you just don't get all the extra content.

I think if this happens it would be absurd. If I were a 360 gamer I'd be even more pissed since you would already be paying $50 a year to be able to get online and then you'd have to take on however much they wanted to charge you to play multiplayer for COD! I think for the most part all the downloadable content on all games thus far has too high of a price tag and most of it should have already been included on the game disc when released. It almost seems to me like we are starting to take steps backwards instead of forwards.

After World of Warcraft, I think Activision probably wants everything it sells on that type of payment plan!

Bye bye COD if that happens for me... I have no interest in anything that requires a subscription on top of a purchase price.

FPS games are a dime a dozen. There is too much competition and fast turnover for this to happen.

They'd loose most of the PS3 base... but 360 users already pay for online.
