Click here to check out what Fandango.com thinks of as the top ten best and worst cinematic adaptations of comic books (or graphic novels).
What do you think of their picks? |

the list is good, but i would've changed some things. i would've removed superman, as i don't really care for it too much. I would add superman returns to the list (waits for the flaming) as well as spiderman 2 and x-men 2. they seem to miss out on a lot of the really great movies. but they did get a bunch right. especially on the worst list. that worst list is awful.

Their worst list does contain some awful movies. But I think Catwoman should be ranked higher than Howard the Duck. They were both bad, but Catwoman was REALLY bad. How Ang Lee's Hulk managed to miss this list is a mystery.
On the best list, I think Spiderman 2 & X-Men 2 deserved to be listed. As for Superman being number one, well, it is a fantastic movie. I do believe however, that after July 18, there will be a new number 1. |

you can't count the x-files. it's not a comic book movie. unless you count the comic book series the x-files had. but that came after the show, so it still wouldn't count. thanks for thinking about it though. it was sweet. anyway, i think the hulk was spared because it wasn't a trainwreck. neither was the incredible hulk. although neither are really that good.

Captain America was a good movie for what it was, a 1980's comic book movie with absolutely no CGI.
Still spades better than Superman Returns though. Logan |

Too bad the Nick Fury movie was made for TV. That definitely would have been on the bad list. Did Hasselhoff even READ the comics?

Love how they had to basically repeat nearly every beat from the original movie in it. |

nope. not at all. i thought superman the movie was cheesy and pretty bad in the special effects department. i understand it was done in the 70's, but i saw loads of movies in the 70's with better special effects. it could've been done. star wars comes to mind. superman returns for me was a fresh original take on the movie.

Also the fandango list is pretty good but Xmen 2 was way better than Xmen. |
