Blu-ray Picture isnt showing on ps3 - Blu-ray Forum

hi i am using a ps3 just updated to the newest firmware today.

when i insert my blu-rays i only hear audio and no picture.
my tv is 1080p and i have it set to 1080p.
it isnt the disc because i tried other blu-ray discs and get the same result.
i put in the blu-ray and i only hear audio.

i tried changing the settings to 720p, 1080i and nothing works.

any ideas? PLEASE help

is the PS3 connected directly to the TV or is it through a surround setup?

press and hold the power button until it resets, I had that same problem, sound but no picture

but i get picture on the XMB. its only when i try to watch a BR

Test BD/DVD Display settings on the crossbar? Like 24p or the resolutions, etc
