According to a reliable source of mine the Sony BDP-S350 that can be purchased at retail stores for $399 will be priced around $329 at some discount Internet mail order companies once large quantities of the players become available. The around $329 price might not occur until a few months from now.
The advantage of purchasing from a retail store at the $399 price is one does not need to wait a few months for the internet mail order company to get the players in stock. Also retail stores have 30 day return policies if the customer does not like the player where as some mail order companies have restocking fees and shorter windows to return products.

Sony will only cover repairs if a product is purchased from a authorized Sony dealer....Sony will tell you if some is authorized if you ask. SO ... Call before you buy.
The grey market dealers getting these products will NOT tell you that there is a warrantee issue, and most of them will not be there when you have a problem with your product.
