It's also the exact same disc! The disc is labeled US/UK and opens with the FBI warning (generally UK discs have local law enforcement warnings, not the FBI). No code, no insert and no digital copy listed on the casing. Now, I'm not being funny, but I shouldn't have to wade through pages of internet sites deciding which version of a film to buy. If the studios are serious about Blu-ray going mainstream, they should make sure that (on the whole) they offer the same packages to all regions and countries. However, I find the notion that its "utterly stupid" to want to do this a bit offensive. The whole landscape for media usage has changed, and if I buy a Blu-ray movie, I would like to be able to make use of it when travelling if possible. I don't demand this - but when other countries have this priviledge, and even other (may I add "cheaper") formats in the same country do, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask why its missing from the Blu-ray release. |

Personally, I buy Blu's for the quality and have completely stopped watching anything of lower quality. I especially don't want to watch things on tiny portable devices. I just don't see the point of buying a Bluray(best quality) and having a lower quality copy with it, plus being forced to pay a higher price because it has the extra copy enclosed. Just my 2 cents.
