Default I really just don't like super hero movies

Now I won't say I don't get excited for them, I usually think I'll like them, maybe it's cause I never read comic books as a kid, and wasn't into super hero type tv shows. But the only super hero movie I can say I truely and wholey liked was SpiderMan. V for Vendetta was really good but I don't know if that's truely a super hero movie, and I did enjoy Iron Man, but for me I don't feel like they really stand any test of time and aren't that good. I didn't like Batman Begins and really am not intrested in Dark Knight, I'll probably rent it once it comes to blu ray, but I don't really care for this sort of thing. I love movies like StarWars but something about this super hero movies are just meh. Oh the other hand I did like Hancock alot, while I won't be revisiting this on bluray, I did enjoy it and thought it was better then many other super hero movies.

This is a chart of all the Super Hero movies (2000-2008) that I've seen

The Amazing: SpiderMan, V for Vendetta
The Good: Iron Man, Hancock, Transformers,
The Ok: Fantastic 4, Batman Begins, SpiderMan 2, X-Men, X-Men 2
The Bad: HellBoy, SpiderMan 3, X-Men 3
The Horrible: DareDevil, Hulk, Electra, Fantastic 4 2, Spawn

I also didn't enjoy Batman Begins.

That's funny. I don't like Star wars at all. Maybe I should make a thread of my own stating that.

Not everyone is going to like the films others do. I am just a fan of comics and like most comic movies because they are comic movies. But a bad movie is still a bad movie.

I would not really count V for Vendetta as a super hero movie, but it is from a graphic novel source. If you are going to count V, you should also count Sin City if you have seen that. Another comic movie you could add is Constantine as that is a Dark Horse Comics series. There are many other comic movies I can't think of for now. One most people do not realize is a comic/graphic novel movie is Road to Perdition.

The Dark Knight is a good film. I am not sure if it is good enough to transcend being a great comic film to becoming a great film over all for some. It is a lot better then Batman Begins if only for the fact that they do not have to spend time on back story and how he became batman.

LETZ ALL START THREADZ ABOOT STUFFZ WE HATEZ

I'm sorry, how completely inappropriate. And for my last post of the evening, too.

I just - don't see the point of you informing us you don't like this stuff. And I'm sure a lot of folk will see you putting Fantastic Four and X-Men 2 in the same category as heresy and burn you on a proverbial stake.

I'm in the same boat as Blu-Ron. Didn't like 'Batman Begins' and totally loved 'The Dark Knight.' I'm even planning on seeing it a 2nd AND 3rd time in theatres!!! It's more of a crime drama with some thriller mixed in than it is a superhero movie.

How in the blue hell can you like HanCOCK and not The Dark Night. TDK is like making love to a beatiful woman, while HanCOCK is like making love to an overweight transgendered puertorican goat.

I will agree Hellboy, Xmen 3, and the Hulk (older one, haven't seen the new one) sucked.

I also enjoyed Spawn, I thought it was pretty cool. They need to make a new Spawn. His cape rulez.
