Can you set Home up where it automatically launches when you boot up your PS3?
The reason I ask is that I'm trying to imagine just how much use I would get out of it and it seems to me that if I have to actually go into Home from an XMB menu AFTER my system boots up, I would eventually ignore it's features and go right into whatever game or blu ray I have loaded. However if I could set it up where when my system powers up, BOOM, I'm automatically IN the Home environment, I would be more apt to want to explore, interact with others, etc because I would already be there in that environment. Also, regarding interacting with others in Home, when you go into it are you literally surrounded by EVERYONE who is logged into Home? Like thousands of avatars running around or can you reduce that number by say, limiting it to only seeing/hearing the ones that are on your friends list? How does it avoid being chaotic if there are thousands of characters running around chatting, talking, etc? How does that work? Last edited by Steelmaker; 07-21-2008 at 08:00 PM. |
