well the four customer reviews only gave them 5 stars, so they can't be that good.

How quickly are you looking to purchase? I may have some Sonys for sale soon; two floorstanders and a center channel under your budget.

Im not sure. Still in debate. May wait and save up because i just purchased the onkyo 606 today and the two mummy movies

You can make them your surrounds later after you add more paradigms in the future. I bought a pair of used paradigm mini-monitors 8 years ago, and did exactly that. I've since added some Paradigm monitor 7s as my mains.

Paradigm speakers are built like tanks and last for many years. And oh, they sound great.
