Sudden audio static
Greetings.
I have a PS3 connected to a 37' Sony Bravia 720p via HDMI. Twice, without warning, the audio on a BluRay and standard disc have become nothing by loud static. The static cannot be lessened by lowering the volume; the only way to make it end is to stop the disc and start it up again. The audio comes through the tv directly; there is no additional equipment involved. Does anyone have any tips about why this is happening? Last edited by urbandocent; 07-23-2008 at 08:00 PM.
