Yes, September 16th is the correct date, like I've been saying.

Video Quality on this release is 1080p in AVC MPEG-4 on TWO BD-50 (50 gigabyte Blu-ray Discs). This includes both the color (Theatrical) and Black & White versions of the film. Disc one is color, Disc two is Black & White. This was originally filmed (in color) using Panavision cameras and lenses on 35mm film. It makes for a really nice transfer to Hi-Def. The black level is solid, the fleshtones accurate and as far as the color palette goes I’d describe it as a bit dull but that’s mainly due to the content at hand. Speaking of the content, there are at times some excessive film grain and noise present in the shots done with low lighting conditions such as only 4 or 5 flashlights. Do not be mistaken, this is not the fault of the encode or transfer, it’s the fault of the lighting conditions. Besides if you can’t take some film grain what kind of horror genre fan are you?! This earns a solid “4 Star Rating” for overall video quality and is sure to leave the fans pleased. Glad to see The Weinstein Company back releasing to Hi-Def to begin with but even more excited to see they’re back “in style” (so-to-speak).

Audio Quality on this release is in Dolby TrueHD 5.1 & Dolby Digital 5.1 @640kbps. Dialogue is delivered very distinctly through primarily the center front channel and at times left and right fronts. There’s a really decent rear channel presence found here in the TrueHD 5.1 mix that is sure to have you jumping out of your seat a few times during the film. There’s also a pretty good bass presences found here and the soundscape is made up of some really realistic sound effects at times as well scary sounds that you’d expect to find in a horror film. While not the most impressive TrueHD 5.1 mix I’ve ever heard it does manage to still deliver the audio well enough to get the job done. This earns a pretty solid “4 Star Rating” for overall audio quality and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t expect a little bit more but I’m still happy with what we get here.

No - it's a dreadful movie. Low budget, terrible CGI effects and wooden actors.

Save your money!
