Default help: blu-ray track length

I need a bit of help on a research project I am doing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Say if we could straighten out a blu-ray disc into a single straight line track, how long would it be??
I'm trying to convince the crowd of the benefits of blu-ray discs over cds and dvds. I know that a cd track is approx 5km long, and a dvd is approx 12, I just need to find the blu-ray.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

Default Blu-ray Track Length

Note that Sexymild has recently answered your question - 27km - under another track length question. Hope you got the answer in time to convince your colleagues...
