Default HDMI Signal Splitters - Recommendations? Do you own one? More info needed!

I'm looking to get a HDMI signal splitter - in particular to split the HDMI signal from my PS3 into two, one for audio to receiver, the other to television.

Don't ask why, just help me out.

I know monoprice offers them, but there seem to be those who have had some troubles with theirs when I look at the review pages under the products.

Does anybody else have any alternatives?

Here's something you might want to checkout and it doesn't cost an arm or a leg!

Rkolinski, is that a splitter? Looks like just a switcher to me - doesn't mention it being a splitter.

And to gearyt...what?!

And to hometheateraddict...I would assume, being in your name, you might know something!

Sorry! My mistake in reading your request; didn't realize you wanted a splitter so try this:

Here's one, although it's on pre order only:

http://www.gefen.com/kvm/dproduct.jsp?prod_id=5723

Gefen makes another 1 to 2 HDMI splitter, but it doesn't mention which iteration of HDMI it supports and also doesn't mention audio support. The one listed above specifically mentions HDMI audio support.

However, I make no claims that this device is any good! Don't use splitters myself for HDMI.

If you check FOR YOURSELF using Google, you'll find that the one I recommended is 1.3 compliant!
