How do I get rid of U CONTROL icon?? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys, just started to watch the Mummy returns, and the u control icon is always in the bottom right of my screen, and I cant get rid of it.

I have switched u control off in the menu, yet it still stays there??

Check the settings in your player, not the disk settings.

ah yeah just figured it out (on the ps3 you have to press the red button on the dvd menu to get rid of it)

I had that problem too, I think what I did was push the POP UP menu again and it go rid of the U CONTROL and gave me the standard POP UP menu, then I hit POP UP menu again to get rid of the POP UP menu.

See if that helps.

Yeah, I had this problem as well. I ended up having to eject the disc and start over.

Which was what I was going to reply with. Now... stupid question- do standalone players have a "red button" for their extras?
