OK, I did a search, sorry if this has been addressed before, but…I have the Onkyo TX-SR605. Sometimes when listening to 5.1 sound (either via cable TV or DVD) some of the sound seems to be coming from the side speakers (the “7” in 7.1), not just the rear.
I thought with a 5 channel mix, the side “extra” speakers would just not produce any sound. I tried to switch them off via the speaker setup, but I can’t kill the side speakers without killing the rears as well. Anyone else run into this, or have any suggestions? |
