I'll be getting one when the price of media comes down. Still $12 for a single 25GB disc.

I am still waiting to see those BD50s on shelves. Someday i will upgrade to a BD burner, but right now it is still too expensive and the software support is lacking.

but yeah, websites often get you with shipping costs...

Of course 20 of those would cost you $300.

i bought my dvd burner for $250.. never doing that again

in a few months they should be a looot cheaper (boxing day)

and u can get BDs for $9.99 almost everywhere and then you can find bulk/sale prices for even lower

You might want to check if the drive can write to 50GB BD media. At one point, Lite-On told me that it doesn't.
