Default Video Problem???

First, let me say that I'm completely new to BD and HDTV, but I'm learning.
I just bought and set up Sony 46XBR5 TV, Marantz SD8002 receiver, and Marantz BD8002 BD player. My problem is with standard DVD's. Some are showing some sort of weird contortions with small movements. It usually shows up in people's faces. It looks like part of the face moves and part lags a little behind. Very weird looking. Looks a little like seeing an image through water. And all DVD's don't seem to do this. I have tried to isolate the problem and removing the receiver doesn't change anything, so I know that isn't the problem. Also, if I connect the BD player to the TV through an S-video cable (analog video), there doesn't seem to be a problem. It obviously has something to do with the digital video. So, I was hoping that this is a very simple matter of changing some settings and everything will be great! Any ideas???
