Problems with Heroes: Season 2 - Blu-ray Forum

Please help me!

i can only watch the first episode of each disc. when i try to select one of the others i do only get the loading screen for few seconds and after that a f*****g blank screen.
my player is a sony bdp-s300 with the newest firmware (3.95). is this release not playable with profile 1.0 players?

No problems on the PS3. I was able to watch all the episodes on the disc I tried (disc 1).

okay. looks like sony needs to release a new firmware for this player. has anyone tested it with a sony bdp-s300?

This why I bought the PS3. I heard it was the best player or one of the best players on the market. I can't figure out why other players can't be just as good. I don't mean cheap players, but top brands.

What happens is that the studios test their Blu-ray releases on PS3s as they make up most of the installed BD player base. So newly authored BDs with advanced BD-Java often require the standalone players to issue new firmware updates. A studio would be stupid to release a Blu-ray that hasn't been fully tested on the PS3.

+1 Just finished watching the entire season over the weekend. I have the Sony 300 with the latest 3.95 firmware update.

A new firmware is available. 4.20. It's faster and possibly the best update that's been given thus far.

The only problem I'm getting is the menu is running slow.
