Default Panny plasma question!

My Panasonic plasma is suppose to support 1.3 deep color and x.v. color. I dont know alot about this, but I ran a 1.3 HDMI cable from my 705 to the tv. I usually just use the 1500 and the PS3 connected to the 705 via HDMI. I didnt really notice a difference in picture. Can someone explain this stuff to me? Thanks

Don't expect movies on Blu-ray to ever use deep color due to bandwidth and capacity concerns. There is a good chance some PS3 games might utilize it though. Just consider yourself future proofed for many years. You still have a very nice display when calibrated.
