480hz SUB FEILD DRIVE....it refreshes the pixels at 480hz its not like 120hz thats 120 per sec....

yeah i know. it wont have the same dramatic effect of LCD 120Hz, but as far as blur reduction for fast moving objects and such, it pwns anything out right now.

Anyone who thinks 240Hz is going to IMPROVE film-watching has stolen props from the new Cheech and Chong tour, consumable props.

That 480Hz is the sub-field drive in the plasma's - it is how quickly the upcoming frame is processed. The refresh rate is 48Hz, 60Hz or 72Hz in North America depending on what model you have.
