Prison Break S1 disc defects?

I recently watched Prison Break Season 1 and noticed 2 spots with playback problems. I exchanged the set for another set and it has the same 2 problems. I'm not sure if the problem is with all sets (Fox customer support says it is not) or just the 2 that I watched or with my Playstation 3 or something else. Does anyone else have these same problems?

One problem is at title 3, chapter 1, time 26:51 on the last disc and just lasts 1 second. It is in the Making of Prison Break special feature. The picture breaks into small boxes jumbled about the screen.

The other problem is similar but it is just the character's nose. I think it is on disc 3 but I didn't record the location.

That's call macroblocking it's an issue with the transfer(or source) and will be inherent to all discs, assuming your descirption is accurate.

Speaking of Prison Break S1, does everybody else's copy do the same with mine with the opening Fox logo? Where it makes the "swoosh" sound but doesnt actually display Blu-ray Disk underneath the words 20th Century Fox? Every other Fox Blu-ray that I know of does this.

My guess is that it is a problem with all discs but Fox customer support is telling me it is only a problem with my discs so I am looking for other people to verify they have the same problem. Then I can go back to customer support and let them know.

All the early releases I have (starting from X-Men: The Last Stand up through Entrapment) have no sound, say 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, and the words don't change. Then they start with the swoosh and display of "Blu-ray Disc". However, The Day After Tomorrow and Prison Break S1 don't display "Blu-ray Disc".

It didn't keep my interest when it first started showing on TV but Amazon had really good deals on the Blu-ray sets so I bought them and season 1 grew on me. I had to skip S2 since it is not on BD yet but it wasn't too difficult to pick up at the start of S3.

I find shows whose episodes are to tightly tied to each other are easier to watch a whole season at a time instead of one episode each week.

The only one I thought I noticed doesnt seem to be a defect after all.
