Default prison break s1,s2,s3 and s4

i happened to stumble upon season 1 on sale in hmv the other day in the UK, and my curiousity that it was region 1 only was apparent. anyway it happened to be region 1, it brought me to thinking do any of you know why fox has stalled on s2, and nevermind only released s3 in the UK, obv the US only got s1/3, we have got jack shit.

as a big fan of good TV i hope we see some good tv like CSI, 24, PB, and more soon, on blu-ray

Fox, for some reason, is taking their sweet precious time releasing Prison Break seasons 2 and 3 on Blu-ray. What they should have done is just released it alongside Season 3.

Now, it's anybody's guess when they will be released, and I can guarantee they'll charge top dollar for them when they do come out (Think MSRP $89.95 for season 2 and maybe a little less for season 3).

There are too many defects with the Prison Breaks.

Not sure how accurate, but the general consensus on why Season 2 didn't get released this year is that the replication facilities are too backed up and it's either season 2 or 5 movies. Just makes more sense to do 5 movies instead.

Also, there is a rumoured BD-50 shortage which wouldn't help matters either.

Both of the above reasons are the likely reasons we aren't getting Lost s1 and s2 this year or any Desperate Housewives on Blu this year either (among many other shows).

What really irks me is that Fox doesn't seem to be putting 24: Redemption on Blu this year. That seems like it could have been fit in with little issue, and I think it would have sold pretty well.

Hopefully this issue is resolved next year though and studios can release more TV on Blu (past and present seasons)
