Default firefox 3 question?

I like what the did with it. Only problem is when I clear the history/temp files/cookies etc. it still leaves the address bar with sites that I've visited. IE7 clears it with one click of the mouse...what did they change in firefox 3? I never had to problem before.

I was actually just messing around with my FF3 settings as you posted!

in the options under:

Privacy - History - Remember what I enter in forms and search bar

...make sure there is no checkmark.

Also go into Private Data - Settings ...

Ya...it's unchecked...but I still have the address bar listing things. I don't mind it but like with IE7...which I hate and also the previous firefox...I used to click delete everything and it all went away...usually did it every 2 weeks as an oil change so to speak along with a defrag.
