Hulk (2003) Blu-ray not available at BB & CC?? Wrong specs??

Hulk (2003) Blu-ray was released today (sep 16th) on blu-ray but its not showing up in the search at Best Buy or Circuit City. Is this a limited release? I see that its available on amazon. Also, the specs of Hulk at this site is wrong. It is a 50GB disc with TrueHD sound, according to this

Highdefdigest always gets specs wrong - it's like their calling card.

As for limited release, I don't know of anything to support that idea. I got mine from FamilyVideo.com, and I know other online retailers like DVDPacific have the listing as well. Best Buy and Circuit City sometimes have spotty catalogue support, so this one just might have fallen through the cracks. It's not like anyone expects this film to fly off the shelves.

They have it for sale on Circuitcity.com but it's listed as 'only available for shipping' .

I went ahead and ordered it along with another item. Free shipping on orders $25 and up. I Have to swing by there later anyways so I'll let you know if it's actually available for instore.

I didn't see it at Best Buy or Circuit City today.

I'm anxiously waiting on the review here to see what they say about the PQ. While I thought the PQ was great, there were white specks and even a few black marks throughout the film but HDD said the source is pristine (didn't notice any flaws). Of course, they've said that in the past with some movies that had flaws making me think they don't really watch the movie but only spot check it. Anyway, just hoping someone else will verify things one way or the other before I try getting another copy. I've tried this in the past, twice, and each time the new one had the same flaws in the same spots but maybe I'm just unlucky.

Got mine yesterday from tower.com. I watched it and noticed some flaws. I can't remeber specifics but I thought overall it looked pretty good. I thought the dts hd ma was good. Everytime Bana hulked out it was effective. Overall i would give it a 7.5

I just left BB in the Seattle Washington area and they said they aren't expecting it until October 30 or 31. I think they were thinking about the new movie because it is scheduled for a 10/21 release. But today's release isn't even on Best Buys website.

But Fry's has them in stock. I had them hold a copy for me and will be picking it up after work today.

Weird that it's not even available for onlibe order at BB. You would think if you could get it on all the other onlines including Walmart, Target etc that it would be a given..

Thanks for the confirmation on that. I just went through the first 5 minutes writing down timecodes for ones I noticed but that was all I was really looking for (confirmation that it wasn't just my copy like that).

Yeah, I really liked the sound. It has quickly become one of my favorites for demo'ing audio.

Anways, Target might be another place to check. Some of the Super Targets I've been in have been getting in some of the Universal catalog titles. I spotted U-571 recently.

i don't know if anyone knows this but Frys had it posted on their website for $22.99 earlier today but unfortunately its now officially sold out and it wasn't a pre-order option.

Target's price of $22.99 is only good for the first week of the release. It'll go up to $24.99 after that. I just bought my copy today for the reduced price.
