Need Decent Receiver For Surround Sound

Howdy! As I prepare to return from Iraq, what a fun overseas deployment, I'm looking to upgrade my home theater to the modern era... After doing a lot of research, I want to get a PS3 for a BD player. I'm also going to get DISH's HD option... However, now I'm stuck looking for a HT receiver option.

What I want is something that can support the following:
1) three HDMI inputs 1.2 compatible minimum (two acceptable)
2) HD audio capabilities
3) auto-switching if possible/cheap
4) it'd be nice to find something under 300 bucks, certainly cheaper than $400 usd

I'll be plugging a HDMI from a PC, DISH DVR, and the PS3 into the system. For the time being I'll be using my SONY surround speakers from an older surround sound system.

In case it's of importance, I have a Toshiba 42" Regza 1080p.
