17. CPU quick-snap: A very common complaint on the forums was the speed at which the CPU snapped the ball. We added a random length of time (no less than 5 seconds) for the CPU to wait and even make pre-play adjustments.
I noticed this today while playing a quick game. But now, I've noticed that having a 5+ second delay is a PITA! First its not realistic. The QB sometimes just stands there for 7 seconds and does nothing except run their play clock. This 'fix' also ruins 2 minute drills for the CPU, as now it takes them extra time to get each play off, so their drill is easily dead by the time they reach the 50 yard line. Finally, they have not put a filter on this change, so the delay happens during FGs, punts, and extra points as well. Again, no point to waiting 5-10 seconds to kick the ball. If others see this the way I do, I can see this 'change' being adjusted in the next update... |

I can understand them running the clock down if there winning. or right before a score to win. and i can understand them taking time to audible or read the defense....But if the time is expiring or there down and need to hurry will they still be a 5 second wait for them to call plays?
That would be kinda unrealistic. |

They need to add an in-game save feature. This, along with the CPU ball carrier randomly running out of bounds for no reason were the main 2 gripes I had for the game.
I understand why they made the change to how fast the CPU hikes the ball. However it sounds like they need to tweak that a little more. They need to at least try to make it relative to the situation on the field. |
