Default Does unplugging resest settings?

I was just wondering if you unplug your TV from the outlet, does it reset your tv settings such as its calibrations? My DLP unfortunatly had to be unplugged and i was wondering if that reset its settings. I used the DVE blu to calibrate it. Also for some reason right now dont know if im just being very picky or over scrutnizing it but close up shots look very good and accurate but whne a camera zooms out the shots arent as sharp, and im talkin about when watching TV. any ideas or thoughts or am i just over anaylzing?

We were without power 2 weeks ago for 5 days and none of my sets (Pany plasmas) lost their settings. I was worried about that myself.
