do you know if amazon increases the price once a title is officially released?
or to put it better: are pre-orders cheaper inorder to draw consumers in? thanks much... |

Most pre-orders on Amazon sell at the same price on release day. However, if the price drops or increases after your pre-order you get the lowest price listed.
I have pre-order over 250 BD's on amazon. Also, with Amazon pre-orders are very easy to cancel from your online account. |

Out of all the titles and pre-orders that I've gotten from Amazon, I've had one title actually go up in price before release. Unfortunately, I don't recall offhand the name, but it did happen.
Everything else, it usually drops a couple bucks and sticks there. |
